I was so busy in the previous winter holiday for I am going to take the university entrance exam in July this year. Everyday, I buried myself in studying. I had to review each required subject and do lots of exercises. Besides, because I did bad in mathematics and physics, I had to do much more exercises than other courses, which made me discouraged. I spent more than ten hours a day in studying. When I was tired, I watched TV or listened to music for a little while. But It was a big pity that I couldn’t go to the see cinema. In addition, I had to refuse all the invitations of friends and relatives. I only called them or sent messages in the New Year’s Eve. I desperately hoped that there is no exam but I know it’s impossible. The only thing I can do is to study hard to get good scores and can be admitted to Tsinghua University.

Nowadays, many families have a dog or a cat as a pet. Some people think that pets are good and helpful companies. Some of them even go so far as saying that animals are as good as humans, and their rights should be respected .Senior citizens are especially fond of keeping pet because they are always feeling lonely at home and they see the cats or dogs as their partner.

But some other people do not like pets. They say that animals are noisy, dirty and dangerous. They think laws should be made to forbid people from keeping pets in cities and towns.

In my opinion, pets are loyal friends that will never betray us. Staying with pets, we shall enjoy happiness and feel relaxed. Most important of all, keeping pets helps people to reduce loneliness and forget their unpleasant things for the time being.

During the winter holiday, I was very happy because of the Chinese new year and other reasons. During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometown in the countryside in Hebei Province. I had not come back for several years, so that I was so surprised to find that great changes had taken place in this small village in the past years. Everyone has a dream.

Now I want to say something about my dream. What is my dream? I often ask myself. In my mind, everyone shall have his own dream. I think that having a dream means that we have an idea, and then we will do all the things to achieve the target. As long as we have a goal to be realized, we won’t be blind at least.

My dream is to become a successful doctor, helping those sick people and saving their lives. The disable often ignored by us, since they are special group, we should take care of them, give them our hands. We can do something for them, like helping them when cross the road. We can help them from small things, helping each other makes the world more beautiful.
